Time for a nap is an installation consisting of several prints and cut-outs. All works are made in a relief printing and etching technique, hung from the ceiling constructing art-filled space to walk into.
All the matrices used to create individual elements were made with an intention for me to unwind and decompress from all the stress and anxiety I endure on the daily basis. While I draw on the metal plate, I almost meditate trying to turn my feelings into an abstract narration, gradually and methodically building the holistic mini-universe made with prints that I later duplicate and put into different contexts.
Time for a nap is a part of my 2021 MFA diploma project.
